Continuing our trip through Mojave National Preserve in February 2015, we left Kelso heading south on Kelbaker Road in the late afternoon. Low angle sunlight lit the Providence Mountains with sharp contrast between the deep shadows and the red hues of the rocks and the sagebrush.
