A short loop trail behind the Rainy Lake visitor center leads through a one-acre field containing a variety of plants used by the Ojibwe people years ago. Once filled with exotic, invasive reed canary grass, the site has been restored to showcase the use of native plants by the Ojibwe. The trail is a crushed gravel surface and is ADA compliant.
