Tunnel View - Yosemite National Park

Tunnel View, formerly Discovery View, is the iconic viewing area for Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park. Located at the east tunnel portal on Wawona Road, the overlook has paved parking for 53 passenger vehicles, 4 handicap vehicles, and 4 buses. There is no parking for RVs or trailers.

Visible from this vantage point are El Capitan, Clouds Rest, Half Dome, Sentinel Rock, Sentinel Dome, Cathedral Rocks, Bridalveil Fall, and Leaning Tower. We stopped during our March 2018 visit to the park.
