Early October 2020 found us back at our happy place, driving the paved 11-mile one-way scenic loop road around Cades Cove in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The fall foliage season was just getting started at this lower elevation (1800 feet) part of the park.
There is no entrance fee at Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
