Rim Trail from Mather Point to Yavapai Point - Grand Canyon National Park

On our May 2015 visit to Grand Canyon National Park, we walked the Rim Trail from Mather Point to the Geology Museum at Yavapai Point. The Rim Trail is paved and relatively flat in this ¾ mile segment. Trees along the rim provide quite a bit of shade, but sun screen is still needed. There is no water available between the main visitor center at Mather Point and Grand Canyon Village, so you'll need to carry your own.
