Rim Trail - Mather Point west to Yavapai Point - Grand Canyon National Park


We continued our March 2018 visit to Grand Canyon National Park by walking the Rim Trail from Mather Point west to Yavapai Point. The views from the ¾ mile paved trail are almost unbelievable, but this is also one of the most crowded portions of the Rim Trail as it is adjacent to the visitor center.

As of June 1, 2018, entrance to Grand Canyon National Park requires an entry fee of $35 per passenger vehicle for a 7-day pass. Any of the America the Beautiful passes may be used instead.
