After touring the gardens during our early September 2018 visit to Cheekwood, we stepped inside the mansion and joined a tour to familiarize ourselves with the building.
From the Cheekwood website:
The 36-room house (excluding service quarters) included eleven bedrooms, twelve bathrooms, two elevators, a hidden staircase, and a library to hold the collection of two thousand books the Cheeks amassed. Suites of rooms created for son, Leslie Cheek Jr., daughter, Huldah Cheek, and Mrs. Cheek’s mother, Huldah Wood, were furnished with antique 17th and 18th century-style English furnishings, creating an atmosphere of old-world elegance.
The restored rooms are mainly on the main floor. One exception is the recreation room which is located below the drawing room. The upper floor contains the art galleries.

Admission to Cheekwood is $22 for an adult. A one-year membership is $65. Other ticket options are available.
