Colonial Williamsburg is a 300 acre non-profit living history museum dedicated to educating visitors about the origins of the idea of America in a recreated 18th century setting complete with historical reenactors who explain and demonstrate various aspects of daily life during the period. We visited in October, 2014.

Walking through Colonial Williamsburg is free. Parking is also free. However, tickets are required to enter any of the historic buildings. Prices vary throughout the year. Adult tickets for January 1 through March 15 are $25.95 per day or $32.95 ($29.95 online) for three consecutive days. Adult tickets for March 16 through December 31 are $43.95 per day or $51.95 ($47.95) for three consecutive days. Youth age 6-12 tickets for January 1 through March 15 are $13.00 per day or $16.50 ($15.00 online) for three consecutive days. Youth tickets for March 16 through December 31 are $22.00 per day or $26.95 ($15.45 estimated online) for three consecutive days. An adult Annual Pass is $64.95 and a youth Annual Pass is $32.50. Additional seasonal reduced prices may also be available.
