John F Kennedy Memorial - Hyannis, Massachusetts

Dedicated in 1966, this simple memorial consisting of a wall, a pool, and benches has stood the test of time. Located on Ocean Street in Veteran's Park and overlooking Lewis Bay, the memorial has paved parking for 25 passenger vehicles and one handicap placarded vehicle. Parking is limited to 30 minutes to visit the memorial. Additional beachfront parking for Veteran's Park is located one block south. We visited during our October 2021 trip to Cape Cod National Seashore. A quotation from one of the President's speeches is inscribed around the pool:
I believe it is important that this country sail and not lie still in the harbor.

There is no entrance fee at the memorial.

The memorial does not have a website.
