West Prong Falls - Great Smoky Mountains National Park

West Prong Falls can be viewed from Laurel Creek Road in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. After entering the park from Townsend, Tennessee, turn right at the Wye toward Cades Cove onto Laurel Creek Road. Drive ½ mile to the second pullout. The falls will be visible from the pullout. A few steps down a social trail will put you at the edge of the water below the 8 to 10 foot cascade. I stopped at the falls in March, 2015.

Entry to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is free.

The park website is http://www.nps.gov/grsm/index.htm.
