In mid-October 2016, we had the opportunity to hike the Big Creek Trail again. Our first hike was about seven months earlier. My post about the trail and the hike can be seen here. While we were a bit early for the fall foliage, we still had a very pleasant day, except for meeting a rattlesnake on the trail.

Fantastic place! I will be going up there soon and I really like the first picture that you posted. Is that at the beginning of the trail or is far into the trail? Thank you for the info. Really like your pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteThe trail isn't within sight of the creek for the first half mile or so. The first picture is representative of what you'll have glimpses of for about a mile from where the trail joins up with the creek to Midnight Hole. Enjoy your hike!
