Dugger's Creek Falls - Blue Ridge Parkway

Dugger's Creek Falls is a 10 foot two-tiered waterfall on a small stream about 300 yards from the Linville Falls Visitor Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The short trail is rated as easy and forms a loop that emerges from the forest at the far end of the bus and RV parking area. The short set of stairs can be avoided by walking about two-thirds of the way down the parking lot to an inclined paved trail that joins the Dugger's Creek Trail or by walking to the far end of the parking lot and hiking the trail clockwise. The waterfall is easy to miss as it is tucked away in a narrow ravine that is only visible from the footbridge over the creek.

Trail begins at the base of the stairs

Lots of roots and rocks

Trail maintainers have cleared this tree from the path...

...but this one requires walking around
