During our March 2018 visit to Yosemite National Park, we stayed at the Yosemite Valley Lodge. After checking in, we drove to our assigned building and parked. From the parking lot, we had a splendid view of Upper Yosemite Fall. Turning around, we had a wonderful view of Sentinel Rock across the valley. I decided to take some early morning waterfall pictures, but didn't realize that the waterfall would be in shade long after sunrise. Below are my morning images of the waterfall.
