Maricopa Point - Grand Canyon National Park

Maricopa Point is the first point on the south rim west of Grand Canyon Village in Grand Canyon National Park. It is also the second shuttle bus stop westbound from the village transfer station. The free shuttle buses run as often as every 15 minutes during the day with 30 minute sequencing in the predawn and sunset times of day. Additionally, the Rim Trail provides a paved path from the village to Maricopa Point and beyond. The overlook provides an unobstructed 180° view of the Grand Canyon. We visited in March 2018.
