Camas Creek Entrance - Glacier National Park

The North Fork Flathead River forms the western boundary of Glacier National Park from the Canadian border south to its confluence with the Middle Fork Flathead River. Along that border, there are only two bridges over the North Fork. The northern bridge is at Polebridge and the southern bridge is at Camas Road. The Camas Creek Entrance station no longer exists, but the road still splits with a median between the two traffic lanes. A small parking lot for five vehicles and two handicap placarded vehicles is located on the south side of the roadway. RV parking is not available. The entrance station is located 0.9 miles from North Fork Road and 0.7 miles inside the park from the North Fork Flathead River. While the views from the entrance station and entrance sign are obstructed by the dense new forest, the views from the bridge are more panoramic in scope. We visited the park in May 2021.
