Bison Jam - East River Road - Theodore Roosevelt National Park

Our second stop along the scenic East River Road in Theodore Roosevelt National Park was rather unintentional as traffic stopped to allow a bison herd to decide if the grass was truly greener on the other side of the road. This occurred near the Lower Jones Creek trailhead in the South Unit about eight road miles north of the visitor center.
