Drive from Panther Junction to Maverick Entrance Station - Part 1: Panther Junction to Basin Junction (Chisos Basin Road) - Big Bend National Park

With desert daytime temperature in the 90s or higher when we visited Big Bend National Park in September 2021, we spent more time than usual on scenic drives in the park. In fact, we drove all 108 miles of paved roads in the park at least twice during our visit. We did stop at many of the numerous pullouts to enjoy the scenery and take photographs.
