We finished the first day of our early August 2017 visit to Voyageurs National Park on a small point below the Ash River Visitor Center on Kabetogama Lake. A gravel trail of less than 100 yards leads from the visitor center past the restrooms to the point. A small dock in a sheltered cove is provided for visitors arriving by boat instead of automobile.
