The Kabetogama Lake Visitor Center in Voyageurs National Park is open seasonally from late May to late September. To reach the center from International Falls, Minnesota drive south on US-53 for 23.9 miles. Turn left, compass north, onto county road 122 and drive 2.4 miles. Continue straight onto county road 123 for another mile before turning left onto Voyageurs National Park Road and then right into the parking area.
The visitor center houses the usual information desk, bookstore, small theater, exhibit area, and restrooms. In addition, there is a boat ramp and small public boat dock. The land around the visitor center is not part of the park, but is home to several small fishing resorts. We visited in early August 2017.
